About the Role:

We are looking for dedicated Private Client Solicitors to provide expert legal advice across multiple sites in Scotland. You will manage a diverse portfolio of private client matters, including wills, trusts, estate planning, and executries, ensuring the highest standard of client care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a full caseload of private client matters, including wills, powers of attorney, trusts, inheritance tax planning, and estate administration.
• Provide personalized legal advice and tailored solutions to clients, ensuring complex legal terms and processes are explained clearly.
• Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and executory documents.
• Support clients with probate and the administration of estates.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships with a focus on trust and discretion.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and firm policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to provide holistic legal services.
• Contribute to business development and help grow the Private Client practice.

Key Requirements:

• Scottish Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE in Private Client law.
• Strong knowledge of wills, trusts, tax planning, and executry matters.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with clients during difficult times.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel across different sites in Scotland as required.
