The Seed Warehouse, Hertford, UKSalary: up to £55,000, depending on experienceAbout the roleZoocha is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our growing cross-functional Experience Team. We’re looking for someone who can help to inform the strategy and design process by driving success through user insights on needs, goals and motivations. You are a highly skilled practitioner with a passion and grounding in the UX design process.This is a hybrid working role, with the flexibility to work remotely some of the time, but with an expectation that you’ll be based at our Hertford at least one day per week.Some travel to clients is also expected.Why we are hiringWe are embarking on a phase of significant internal positive change at Zoocha, building out our creative, strategic, and experience capabilities to complement our industry-leading Drupal design and build offering.Your remitWe’re looking for a real team player who’s able to work collaboratively with our Experience and Development team, to design a wide range of audience-centred experiences, including websites, native mobile apps, and across global design systems. You should also be comfortable working independently across projects from concept to delivery.What we’re looking for from you:We’re looking for at least 3 - 4 years’ agency experience designing digital productsExceptional UX design-craft paired with a strategic, consultative mindsetAbility to take a project from a brief, translating problems into practical solutionsProficient at creating UX/ CX deliverables such as wireframes, prototypes, journey/ experience maps, user flows, personas, information architecture etcYou must have a strong UX process, with an ability to create high level concepts through to prototypes, testing and UI handoverYou must be comfortable engaging senior client stakeholders, leading/ facilitating client workshops & co-design sessions to get buy in and progressing through to the final productAbility to conduct primary and/or secondary research, as well as quick rounds ofusability testsExperience creating user stories and product backlogsExperience of designing and facilitating workshopsA good commercial awareness, helping ensure work is delivered on time within budgetGreat communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts easily to people from other disciplines and backgroundsExcellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategicallyAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, marketers, and product managersKnowledge of accessibility standards and best practicesStrong portfolio of design projectsNice-to-have experience:Experience of designing mobile apps (iOS and Android)Experience of interpreting data (e.g. GA4, Hotjar)Mandatory requirements:Based in the UK, ideally within regular commuting distance of our Hertford office.Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.Have a visa or work permit.No recruiters please - your application will be disregarded.About ZoochaFounded in 2009, Zoocha is a leading Drupal specialist digital agency based in the UK, with offices in Spain and Brazil.
