What we can offer you; 25 days of annual leave Access to our company pension scheme Discounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers Access to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to One paid days leave every year to volunteer and support your community Ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential What you'll be doing; Using digital systems on a daily basis to manage services and people Ensure the budget is met and used to maximise productivity Manage the frontline collection service and supervise up to 60 employees Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently Reduce lost work hours due to sickness, accidents and injuries Manage fleet compliance including daily checks and ensure vehicles are compliant with the Road Transport Directive, Working Time Regulations and Waste Regulations Investigate safety incidents, underperformance and disciplinary incidents Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders Manage staff usage and agency costs Manage people & assets to deliver efficient & profitable service Arrange site inspections What we're looking for; Experience in training staff and delivering toolbox talks, e.g. manual handling trainer Strong people management and team leadership skills Stakeholder relationship management Driving Licence Waste and/or Fleet management experience Previous use of digital systems to manage services & people - Desirable IOSH Managing Safely/NEBOSH - Desirable Level 5 Leadership & Management or equivalent work experience, Transport CPC, COTC/CMS - Desirable What's next?
