Cyber Security Engineer

Due to ambitious growth plans for 2024 and beyond, they are looking to add an Onboarding Engineer on an initial 6-month contract to assist with getting clients tech stack ready to be onboarded to their MS Security platform. This can be a home-based role anywhere in the UK. This will require someone who knows IT Security and how it is implemented while being capable of recommending solutions to a varied client base. Position Take responsibility for the design, analysis, implementation, and support of cyber security technologies. Conduct research, design, and implement cybersecurity solutions for both internal and external clients. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure security is integrated into the evaluation, selection, installation, and configuration of new solutions. Proactively analyse and recommend improvements to network, system, and application architectures. Support the review and update of cybersecurity policies, architectures, and standards. Assist in responding to audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments. Develop solutions to enhance the efficiency of the Security Operations Center (SOC). Requirements A focus on customer-centricity and excellent communication skills. Clear thinking under pressure and strong analytical skills for effective problem-solving. Windows knowledge and Networking experience Good Cloud Engineering experience, specific focus on Azure and knowledge of DevOps Linux and Jira Cloud experience Curious and innovative Great team player
