Maintenance Electrician

Job Description: Maintenance Electrician Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 per annum (Up to £42,000 with 2391 qualification) Location: Sandhurst Company Overview: Our client is a reputable facilities management company with a strong track record of maintaining high standards in commercial environments. They are seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their team, ensuring the seamless operation and safety of electrical systems at their Sandhurst site. Position Overview: The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical systems across the site. This includes regular checks, preventative maintenance, and dealing with electrical issues as they arise. The ideal candidate will hold NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition qualifications, with AM2 and 2391 qualifications considered advantageous. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance. * Ensure electrical systems are compliant with current regulations and standards. * Diagnose and rectify electrical faults, ensuring minimum disruption to services. * Provide support and advice on electrical matters across the site. * Work within health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. * Liaise with contractors when necessary and oversee electrical installations and repairs. Qualifications and Experience: * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation. * 18th Edition wiring regulations certification (mandatory). * AM2 qualification (desired). * 2391 qualification in Testing and Inspection (preferred, salary up to £42,000 with this qualification). * Ability to pass security clearance for the site.
