Sen teaching assistant

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant. Our client is a mainstream Secondary school rated based within Burton-on-Trent with easy transport links and free on-site parking. The successful candidate will: · Work 1:1 with children who have SEN such as ADD, ADHD, or other learning difficulties · Create fun and creative learning resources while developing childrens understanding · Use phonics to aid speech and language development · Work with class teachers in lessons in order to support those with SEN in mainstream schooling Location - Birmingham Position - SEN Teaching Assistant Type of work - Assisting children on a 1:1 basis Start date - ASAP Likely Duration - Ongoing Position end date - Ongoing Contract type - Temporary Full-time (Monday-Friday) Experience, Training and Qualifications It is essential that you have school admin and CMIS system experience. Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months. Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application. Provide two relevant professional references.
