Are you an expert in managing high-value Property claims? My client is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Large Loss Property team as a Senior Claims Technician. In this role, you’ll take the lead on complex claims involving significant losses, such as fires or floods. Expect to spend at least 40% of your time connecting with clients, attending industry events, or collaborating with your team in person.
About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of high-value claims (£500K+) from notification through to settlement.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while accurately estimating and controlling indemnity spend.
- Share your expertise and support the development of your team and the wider claims community.
- Build strong relationships with Loss Adjusters and other key suppliers.
- Maintain regular communication with policyholders, their representatives, and underwriting colleagues.
Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive experience in handling high-value and complex commercial property claims, with settlements of at least £500K+.
- A-Level or degree-level education, or equivalent professional qualifications (ACII/FCII/CILA).
- Strong leadership skills with empathy and flexibility to achieve effective outcomes.
- Exceptional customer service delivery.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing, and negotiating skills.

Experience Required:
