Engineering & Maintenance Manager

Hiring an Engineering and Maintenance Manager as full-time Appointed Person E&M to assume leadership and management for our client at Seascale.    This permanent opportunity involves leading an engineering and maintenance team, managing key plant operations, and driving performance in line with safety and operational standards.    You will work full-time on site from 8.30am – 5.00pm Mon-Thu and 8.30am - 1.30pm Fri, in return for an excellent benefits package, including a car allowance. The role requires commitment to a Site Duty Manager rota, with some travel and overnight stays.    You will be: Leading and managing all engineering and maintenance (E&M) processes, ensuring systems are optimised for risk management and compliance Providing expert guidance for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, including plant shutdowns and outages Overseeing the development and maintenance of engineering policies, specifications, and CMMS, ensuring all technical requirements are met Conducting performance appraisals, managing staff development, and supporting the team in achieving operational targets Ensuring adherence to COMAH regulations, cyber security standards, and HSE principles Supporting project activities as needed, providing technical expertise and ensuring compliance with industry standards Maintaining budgets and financial oversight within engineering operations    In addition to a degree in an engineering discipline, you will have significant experience at department head level in a 24/7 process environment, including: Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering legislation, process safety, and SHE procedures Proven experience with budgetary management, quality systems, and managing major E&M defects or events Familiarity with COMAH regulations, cyber security, and top tier site requirements Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a commitment to personal and team development    For individuals with relevant experience looking to take on a challenging leadership role, this is an excellent opportunity to advance within a dynamic environment.    Please submit your CV to be considered for the role of Engineering and Maintenance Manager or contact us for further details including a comprehensive JD/personal spec
