Job Description

In a world where artificial intelligence opens up new horizons, our faith in its potential unveils a new outlook where, together, humans and machines build a new future filled with knowledge, inspiration, and incredible discoveries.

The development of a functional humanoid robot underpins an era of abundance and well-being where poverty will disappear, and people will be able to choose what they want to do.

We can imagine millions of bipedal robots doing more work than all human labour does today freeing people from the servitude of some repetitive and boring tasks that nobody likes to perform.

We believe that we have enough abundance to take care of everyone who is displaced. Eventually, providing a universal basic income will lead to the true evolution of our civilization.

Labor shortages loom, as the demands on our built environment rise. With the world’s workforce increasingly moving away from undesirable tasks, the manufacturing, construction, and logistics industries critical to our daily lives are left exposed.

By deploying our general-purpose humanoid robots in environments deemed hazardous or monotonous, we envision a future where human well-being is safeguarded while closing the gaps in critical global labour needs.

Responsibilities:

- Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for software applications and robotic systems, ensuring rapid and reliable delivery of updates and releases.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage infrastructure as code scripts and configurations using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to provision and manage cloud resources, containers, and virtual machines for robotic systems and development environments.

- Configuration Management: Manage and automate configuration of software components and system settings using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, ensuring consistency and repeatability across development, testing, and production environments.

- Containerization and Orchestration: Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to deploy and manage containerized applications and microservices for robotic systems at scale.

- Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track the performance, health, and reliability of robotic systems and applications, and proactively identify and resolve issues using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance standards for cloud environments and robotic systems, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability management, to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.

- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows, resolve technical issues, and ensure smooth integration and deployment of software updates and enhancements for robotic systems.

- Automation and Efficiency: Identify opportunities for automation and optimization of development, testing, and deployment processes, and implement tools and workflows to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and accelerate time to market for robotic innovations.

Expertise:

- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI, with experience in configuring and managing pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment of software applications and robotic systems.

- Knowledge of infrastructure as code principles and tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi, and experience in provisioning and managing cloud resources, containers, and virtual machines using IaC scripts.

- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, and ability to automate configuration of software components and system settings for robotic systems and development environments.

- Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, and ability to deploy and manage containerized applications and microservices for robotic systems in distributed environments.

- Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack, and experience in implementing monitoring and alerting mechanisms to track performance and reliability of robotic systems.

- Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards for cloud environments and robotic systems, and ability to implement security controls and measures to protect against security threats and ensure regulatory compliance.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and ability to write scripts and automation workflows to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes for robotic systems.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and communicate technical concepts and solutions in a clear and concise manner.

Benefits:

- High competitive salary.

- 23 calendar days of vacation per year.

- Flexible working hours.

- Opportunity to work on the latest technologies in AI/ML, Robotics and others.

- Startup model, offering a dynamic and innovative work environment
