Shopfitter

Job Title: Shopfitter Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, E Riding of York, Hull Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Construction Salary: £27 - £27 Per hour Job Duties: Install and fit shop fixtures and fittings according to specifications Read and interpret drawings and plans to determine the layout of the shop Measure and cut materials to ensure accurate installation Assemble and install shelving, cabinets, counters, and other shop elements Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on-site Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a Shopfitter or in a similar role Proficiency in using hand and power tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Health and Safety certification is desirable Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in shop fitting or a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of construction methods and materials Excellent problem-solving skills Good communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications: CSCS card First Aid certification Working Conditions: The role involves working indoors and outdoors, and may require lifting and carrying heavy materials. It may also involve working at heights and in various weather conditions
