Director, M&A - Renewable Energy/ Energy Transition

We are currently working with a European investment bank who are one of the leading advisors across the energy transition/ renewable energy space. They have a strong network amongst both sponsors and developers and have closed a number of high-profile M&A and Debt Advisory transactions over the past 6 months. The team has doubled in size over the past 12-18 months and is split roughly 50/50 between M&A and Debt Advisory. Following an increase in deal volumes they are looking to make a senior appointment within their M&A team. The ideal candidate will be someone who has the capability and desire to build on the transactional success the team has had to date, someone with the desire to work closely with clients and enhance the firms offering as well as ambitions to personally originate and grow the business furthermore in the mid-term. There is a clear path to MD promotion. Compensation is strong with top-performers receiving bonuses within the top decile of the market.
