Here at Sirius, our team of approximately 100 personnel, is dedicated to delivering high-quality, end-to-end technical consultancy services, ranging from operational analysis, cost engineering, systems engineering, software engineering and Project Management. To support growth of the company, we are looking for a Project Support Officer with a particular interest in supporting quality assurance and governance function of our P3MO service. The Role: As a Project Support Officer you would be sat in PSO team, supporting the P3MO Coordinator with the maintenance and delivery of the Quality Management System (QMS) across the company. Undertaking internal quality controls checks on projects and supporting the preparation for the annual ISO9001 quality Audit. Other responsibilities include maintenance of documentation and providing service desk support of our Information Management System (IMS.) Main Responsibilities: Supporting internal audits and external accreditation inspections across the company. Supporting the delivery of quality controls on projects. Provide QMS training as part of new starter induction process Acting as custodian of processes, documenting, maintaining, updating and cascading to all relevant stakeholders Supporting project teams with review of plans and proposals ensuring compliance with QMS Providing Service Desk Support of IMS and supporting information and knowledge management activities. Providing effective stakeholder management, communications management and monitoring and reporting on projects. Delivering tasks to time, quality and documentation reviews. Building new relationships and maintaining successful working relationships with staff, suppliers and customers. Supporting the business development activities of the P3MO and wider company activities in line with business objectives. About You: The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following essential and desirable skills and attributes: Essential: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a project support or quality administration role Educated to degree level or equivalent with relevant professional qualification i.e. project management. Demonstratable experience of maintaining and sustaining quality on projects Understanding of ISO standards and/or quality management systems. Demonstratable experience of supporting the delivery of projects successfully Demonstratable skills in stakeholder management, communications and supporting teams on projects. Be able to adapt and provide flexibility in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. Good attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneous. Have strong communication, presentation and written skills. Be organised and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision. Highly motivated professional who strives to deliver ahead of targets. Be a trusted self-motivated individual who can perform when working as part of a team or when acting independently with support from colleagues. Be dependable, committed and have a genuine enthusiasm to contribute to the growth of a successful business. Be able to travel to different sites across England. Desirable Have a desire for further professional development such as APM PMQ. Have practitioner experience in defence, energy, transport or related field. telecommunications environments. Have qualifications in quality management and/or project management. Candidates must be willing and eligible to complete a United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) security clearance application to the Security Check (SC) level upon starting their employment with the company. To gain SC Clearance you will normally need at least 5 years' UK residency.
