Computer Aided Design Technician

A well established, growing company who manufacture beautiful garden products for both commercial and residential clients are looking to recruit a CAD Technician to work closely with the Project Managers to produce proposal and manufacturing drawings. AutoCAD experience and a good knowledge of joinery/woodwork is essential for this role. The role: Support the Project Management team with new and existing projects, product development and draughting.Interpret architectural drawings to develop proposal and manufacturing drawings.Create and maintain project management documentationOffer back up to the Projects departmentOccasional site visits What's required: A working knowledge of joinery is essential, previous hands-on joinery experience would be ideal.Able to use AutoCAD 2D & 3DWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsMust have a keen eye for detailAble to prioritize with good time management skillsAble to work on multiple projects at any one timeA clean driving licence is preferableWhat's on offer: Salary circa £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experiencePerformance related bonus scheme paid twice per yearFurther training offered and a real opportunity for progressionHours 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday21 days holiday plus bank holidaysFantastic working environmentUse of company beach hutCompany pension scheme Free parking
