A leading global investment firm with offices in the UK, Jersey, Lux, and the US is hiring its first Company Secretary as part of its Legal team in London. With fantastic new offices and a friendly, high-profile team, this position will manage the day-to-day UK and LUX entity, board meetings, and other project duties.
If you have experience in a regulated industry and are seeking a new, challenging position that will put you in front of the board, work with key stakeholders, and lead the CoSec strategy, this may be the position for you.
Role responsibilities:
- Hold the Company Secretary title and manage board meetings end-to-end, inclusive of organisation, attendance, minute taking and review
- Responsible for stakeholder management of senior directors and working closely on governance matters and company secretarial queries
- Responsible for entity management for the group
- Management of Companies' House Filings for multiple entities
- Horizon scanning for all governance-related legislation
- Management and assistance with Governance projects, inclusive of the annual reporting and AGM organisation
- Some paralegal duties, inclusive of document review and NDAs on an ad-hoc basis
Requirements:
- Qualified or part-qualified Company Secretary
- 7+ years experience in Company Secretarial and Governance
- Experience working in a regulated environment
- Comfortable managing entity management of the group
- Experience managing key stakeholders
- Extensive minute-taking exposure, comfortable attending and actioning
- Comfortable working from the office whenever required
