IaC Engineer

Next Ventures are looking for a IaC Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract . The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Chef Infra, Chef Automate, and Chef Inspec in large-scale environments. You’ll be responsible for coding and managing Inspec baselines and profiles, ensuring infrastructure automation and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Inspec baselines and profiles . Modify, validate, and test Inspec profiles to meet security standards. Automate infrastructure using Chef Infra and Chef Automate . Ensure continuous integration of Chef Inspec profiles into CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Chef deployments. Skills and Experience: Strong expertise in Chef Infra, Chef Automate, Chef Inspec . Unix/Linux, Ruby experience. Proven track record of managing and updating Inspec profiles. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). 6 Months Contract Inside IR35 4 days Remote, 1 day per week on site in Canary Wharf London
