Purpose:
The role will work with employees and support the business in the delivery of its aims and objectives, and deliver creative and innovative design solutions in building services. The role will also provide line management support and will be responsible for project design management as well as client relationships.
Reports to: Associate Director
Location: London
Responsibilities:
- Preparing design and economic feasibility studies, surveys, and reports
- Planning engineering projects in terms of methods, costs, time schedules, and staff requirements
- Supervising technicians and/or supplying them with design information for the production of suitable documents
- Carrying out and supervising site inspections
Relevant Experience and Competence:
Knowledge:
- Professional qualifications and membership - a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering. Will be working towards a chartered professional qualification or may have achieved chartered membership status in an engineering discipline
- Understanding of external clients' expectations and project delivery
- Technical proficiency in the field of engineering
Skills:
- Ability to supervise teams and processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships
- Ability to work to conflicting demands and support project delivery
Experience:
- Experience in the construction and renewables sector
- Experience in supervising teams
