QTS Science Teacher

Job Description: Our esteemed secondary school client in Kingsbury is seeking a qualified and experienced Science Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) to deliver engaging and effective lessons in Science. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and be able to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: * Teach Science to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with the potential for Key Stage 5) * Develop and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a range of abilities * Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing timely feedback * Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for Science * Collaborate with other Science department staff to share resources and strategies * Maintain compliance with the school’s policies and safeguarding procedures Requirements: * QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK * Degree in a Science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) * Experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 & 4 (experience with Key Stage 5 is advantageous) * Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one * Right to work in the UK Benefits: * Competitive daily rate * Opportunity to work with a reputable secondary school * Continuous support from Potter Johnson Education’s dedicated team * Access to other teaching opportunities across the UK
