Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Technician

The Opportunity Given increased project growth, our client currently has an exciting opportunity based at their Rawcliffe Bridge site for a 2-crew day Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Technician to be responsible for carrying out maintenance on site to keep production downtime to a minimum. The role involves locating and solving electrical and instrumentation issues on the plant in a safe and timely manner. Salary will be negotiable dependent on experience, you can also expect to receive a wide range of benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, benefit pension scheme alongside death in service benefit plus many more! The hours of work will be. 1 x 6-2 4 x 9-5 1 x 2-10 with 1 in 6 weekends and on call 1 week in 6. You will have the following qualifications and experience You will be a good written and verbal communicator and be able to demonstrate a keen eye for detail. You should also have the ability to use your own initiative and judgement when solving problems. You will have at least City and Guilds Certificate in Electrical and Instrumentation or equivalent plus 18th edition & Compex qualifications. You will have completed a recognised E&I apprenticeship and should have some experience of working within the chemical industry. Experience of working with electronic maintenance management systems and permit to work systems is also essential.
