Special Works Manager

The Company My client is a main contractor specializing in high-end residential construction projects in London. The company prides itself on its ability to deliver exceptional results by assembling highly proficient teams tailored to each project's specific requirements. The company specialises in working on Super prime refurbishment projects valued between £5,000 to £10 million within the high net worth areas of London such as Chelsea, Knightsbridge & Mayfair. The Role Due to continued growth, my client has a requirement for a Special Works Manager to join their operations department and take charge of our Aftercare Services, Small Works, Ad-hoc Jobs, and Defects management. This is a hands-on role working alongside the Maintenance Manager to work on multiple projects under £500k. Due to the nature of the companies work this will be predominately on high end residential projects requiring the finest finishes. Skills & Requirements * Proven experience in providing excellent customer care, particularly in high-end residential construction. * Strong problem-solving abilities with an in-depth knowledge of construction processes. * Commercial acumen, with experience in quoting, invoicing, cost control, and financial oversight. * Process-driven, with a track record of creating and managing effective systems. * Ability to lead and performance manage teams to meet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. * Must reside in London, as this role requires a full-time presence on-site (no work-from-home opportunities). Salary and benefits * Basic Salary - £60,000 - £80,000 * 23 Days Holiday (3 Holidays to be taken during Christmas shutdown period) * Birthday Leave – 1 day additional leave to be taken to celebrate your birthday. * Length of Service Leave – You will receive 1 day holiday on top of your entitlement for every year that you have worked.
