Insurance Senior Credit Underwriter

Our client is a well established property finance lender in Manchester. You will be responsible for assessing and underwriting complex property finance cases as well as working as part of the wider Credit/Portfolio function to effectively manage all aspects of credit and portfolio risk. Working with BDM’s on new deals to ensure that new enquiries are within appetite and meet credit policy. • Ensure all data on back office loan processing systems are up-to-date. • Follow and keep up to date with current regulatory requirements. • Ensure documentation is collated and stored in line with Company policies. • Work on additional projects for the business when required. • Ensure that the business is performing efficiently, suggesting process improvements that will not detract from managing credit risk. • Providing training to colleagues to ensure knowledge is shared. • Ability to work alone and in a team. • Ability to work with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. •
