Design Engineer - HVAC

We are looking for a creative and motivated, confident self-starter who has experience of working across a range of design activities within a fast-paced healthcare equipment environment. Thoroughly appraise received project documentation to identify risk, opportunity, insufficient information, inadequate or incorrect design and compliance You will work across a range of products and service sectors including hoisting, assisted living rooms and environments when required. Primarily working in the Hydrotherapy environment involving full co-ordination of the equipment and the interaction with the building. Clash detection, space planning and considerations for the working environment. (full training specific to this ‘offering’ will be provided supplemented with constant support and guidance where required by the wider team) Responsibilities * All the design work should be carried out in accordance with the relevant building regulations. * Adhere to the company Integrated Management System processes and procedures. * Ensure a robust drawing control process is maintained with revision control and distribution. * Operating within AutoCAD and Revit, produce any required technical documents * Work within the necessary BIM lv 2 guidelines to maintain compliance. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE What you’ll need: Must Haves * * AutoCAD * REVIT * Experience of working in CDE format (BIM 360 – 4P) * Robust drawing / document version control and records. * Construction and Contracting environment experience. * Minimum 2 yrs in aligned industry / sector. * Good understanding of the CDM Regs 2015 * Excellent communication skills at all levels, both verbally and in writing in a Contractual, Commercial and Domestic environment. * Competent user of MS packages e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word (essential) Other Considered Factors * * Mechanical & Electrical experience. * Industry trade process knowledge for planning and timing considerations. * HNC/HND in construction based subject. * Experience in construction, engineering or professional design role. * Task management experience. * Time keeping and commitment to Company demands. * Demonstrates consistent drive and personal motivation
