Case Handler

Our client is one of the leading lights within their industry and they are currently looking to recruit an experienced individual to join their highly regarded team. Salary £32,000 but will pay up to £40,000 depending on level of experience The key responsibilities: * Managing and processing claims related to freight liability, ensuring timely resolution, and providing excellent customer service. * Collaborating closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and insurance providers to investigate and evaluate claims * Negotiate settlements, mitigate risks and where applicable, look to make recoveries from the responsible parties * Evaluate the extent of damages or loss, assessing the validity of claims and estimating potential settlement amounts. Key skills: * Good standard of education * Previous experience in a similar role is essential * Proven experience as a claim’s handler or similar in freight, logistics, or transportation * Strong knowledge of freight liability reg’s, insurance policies and claim settlement procedures * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Strong negotiating skills * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Keywords: Freight Liability, Freight Forwarder, Logistics, Claim Handler, Cargo Claims, Transportation Due to the high number of applications, Aspire Recruitment will only be able to contact short-listed candidates for the role.
