Plater/ Fabricator

Our client are a Fabrication Company established for over 45 years and accredited to ISO9001, BS EN 1090-2 Exc 3 and BS EN3834-2. They are currently looking for experience plater/ Fabricators to join our team
Due to rapid expansion through current and new contracts our client are looking to recruit Permanent Plater/fabricators for their busy operation in Chesterfield.

Successful Candidates will be able to:

• Review engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated
• Perform Plating Activities
• Work as part of a team to produce orders on time and within quality requirements
• Ensure correct marking up of component parts.
• Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed:
• 5 Years Plating experience (i.e. time-served)

Ability to work effectively, accurately and use own initiative

• Good communicator at all levels
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation
• Experience within a medium heavy fabrication shop, working on Bridges, Gantries, Staircases and other fabrications up to 10+ton

Working HoursMonday to Thursday 7.00am to 4.00pm, Friday 7.00am to 12.00pm

Pay: From £17.00 per hour dependant on experience

Expected hours: 39 per week
