Consultant (Remote)

Hybrid/London ~ Contract (initial 28 days) ~£450 per day Our client, a leading VMware specialist and professional services consultancy, is looking for two Vmware Consultant to join on a short-term contract (Initial 28 days). The project encompasses several critical phases, including the discovery of existing environments, requirements capture, design, deployment, upgrades, migration assistance, and decommissioning of old clusters. Install and configure new servers, integrating them into a new vSAN ESA-based cluster. ~ Update in-scope environments, including VMware vCenter Server, VMware NSX components, VMware Aria Operations, and VMware Aria for Logs, to support the upgrade to VMware vSphere 8. ~ Facilitate the migration of virtual machines from the old cluster to the new hyper-converged cluster. ~ Experience in virtualised infrastructure projects, particularly with VMware technologies. Hands-on experience with server deployment and configuration.
