Graduate Electrical Design Engineer

Graduate Design Engineers - Electrical (Can be based in Portsmouth OR Monmouth) We are also looking for Graduate Building Surveyors with a design understanding. Torchlight Recruitment Solutions Ltd are looking for recent Graduates who are looking for their first opportunity to join a well established Design House providing services to the Building Services Industry at a period of expansive growth and success. This role will be working on a number of MOD and Defence projects and give the candidate the opportunity for continued and funded learning (e.g Chartership) and a clear and structured career path with a dedicated graduate trainer. We are looking for people who have recently graduated (University or Apprenticeship) with a degree in design engineering (mechanical and/or electrical) - as part of your degree you will have ideally had exposure to the building services industry and gained some understanding of the construction industry. Other areas of interest will include architecture, listed buildings, ventilation, air conditioning, BMS Controls, HVAC, drainage, HV/LV etc. An understanding and knowledge of design packages such as Revit and AutoCad is a requirement for the position along with the ability to understand and interpret construction and engineering drawings and 3D modelling. An understanding of Electrical Design is also required. We are looking for people passionate about design looking to create new concepts and ideas and develop their skills in a busy and exciting working environment. Based at the Portsmouth office there will be opportunities for international travel.
