Retail Assistant Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Assistant Manager to join our team at Riverside Service Station, Ambergate, Belper, Derbyshire. DE56 2EJ As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be part of the team and work alongside the Store Manager to assist in the daily running of the store, manage the store in the absence of the manager, have a hands-on approach and cover a wide range of duties including excellent customer service and promoting sales. Whats in it for: Salary £26,085 per annum 40 hour per week contract 28 days paid holiday per year Contributable pension scheme 10% Staff discount In store training and development Progression for those who are looking for a career in sales and retail What we are looking for: Ideally previous experience in retail Flexible to work between Mon and Sun Right to work in the UK Key Responsibilities: Managing instore facilities to ensure brand standards are met Manage the store in the absence of the manager To authorise the dispensing of fuel and monitoring the forecourt Manage stock, ordering, deliveries ensuring all shortages damages are reported within the correct timelines Ensure all the daily cashing, banking tasks are completed accurately within the allocated timelines in the managers absence Manage product availability across the store to maximise sales Ensuring company policies, procedures are adhered to and the store operates in a safe and legal manner Ensuring that the store and forecourt are maintained to the highest standards To see in fuel deliveries safely and legally to meet the needs of the business Manage stock replenishment and merchandising throughout the store To assist with training and coaching colleagues To assist with food preparation and the cooking of bake-off products TPBN1_UKTJ
