Venari Finance are delighted to be working in partnership with our key Private Equity backed national client to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role will be the main finance focal point for 9 sites across Scotland and North of England with travel to one of the sites roughly once a month. This would suit an individual who enjoys working across non finance stakeholders and providing value to business growth.
Role Overview:
Primary contact for the Regional General Manager and regional team for all financial matters. Ensuring financial controls and processes are followed. Reviewing monthly account reconciliations. Recommending and preparing financial business cases for investment, capital expenditure and change programmes resulting in cash flow and profit improvement. Proactively seeking and recommending profit improvement suggestions for the region Ensuring regional period-end close and submissions are made on time and in full. Preparing regional re-forecasting and budgeting. Leading the investigation and query resolutions for any issues that arises on the depot and Transfer station P&Ls. Maintaining other key performance data as required.
Candidate background:
Qualified or studying towards an accountancy qualification Experience of working with and supporting operational colleagues Advanced Excel with excellent analytical skills Power BI and project management experience would be an advantage Management accounting experience Well organised with excellent attention to detail
Package on offer:
£50,000- £55,000 plus £4,800 car allowance Hybrid working of 1-2 days per week in the Glasgow office
