CNC Miller. Lincolnshire (A46 / A15 area). Up to £29,460 + shift premium (OTE up to £32,406). 12 month fixed term contract. Due to further, strategic expansion, an opportunity has now arisen for a CNC Miller to join them at their facility in Lincolnshire. Reporting into the Performance Supervisors and working as part of the small, friendly machining team, you will take ownership of ensuring the smooth running of CNC milling machinery within your department. The key responsibilities for your new role as CNC Miller are as follows: * Setting and operating CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines (Okuma, Mazak, HAAS and XYZ). * Ensuring parts conform to drawings and are process in the allotted timeframe. * Ensuring all documentation is accurate. * Supporting the area in carrying out alternative tasks, as required. * Achieving area targets as identified by production management. My client is keen to find someone with solid expertise in the operation of CNC milling machinery, who ideally has an NVQ in Engineering Manufacture (although not essential). Regardless of previous experience, you will have a good eye for detail, strong interpersonal skills and work well both independently and as part of a team. In return, my client is offering an excellent salary of up to £29,460, plus shift premium when working a late shift. An excellent benefits package is also on offer which includes 25 days holiday per year (plus Bank holidays), subsidised health care, personal accident plan, long service award, bike to work scheme, death in service benefit and a matched pension of 5%. The hours of work, are as follows: Morning shift * Monday – Thursday 6am – 1.35pm. * Friday 6am – 12.45pm. Late shift (20% shift premium) * Monday to Thursday 1.25pm – 9.05pm. * Friday 12.35pm – 7pm.
