The role:
Bluearrow are proud to be working with a prestigious Spa Hotel in Hertfordshire
An enthusiastic Snr Chef de Partie required for a busy Spa Hotel . A natural pro-active chef, able to take responsibility for their own station and supporting the kitchen team .
Willing to learn and assist with innovative ideas
Using fresh ingredients cooked healthy with an attention to detail
Applicants should have the relevant qualifications, knowledge of food production methods and proven experience in a similar role and a need to maintain a fully compliant kitchen with all statutory requirements of health and safety and food hygiene.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work in a fun fast-moving environment and expand their knowledge while gaining excellent experience.

Key Information:
Immediate start
45hrs per week - working as a shift pattern Monday to Sunday 5 days out of 7.
Straight shifts
Key Responsibilities
Preparation and service of fresh meals.
Ensuring high standards of food hygiene are always achieved.
Working as part of a team to ensure a great food offer and service.
Skills Required:
Enthusiasm and willingness to develop your own skills and knowledge, plus those around you.
Flexible and have a willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
Team player qualities and the ability to work well with staff at all levels in the kitchen and other departments
Confident, positive, and approachable manner
Able to stay calm when pressure mounts or difficulties arise in service and ability to adapt quickly to change.
Understanding of HACCP, allergens, special diets, portion control, and recipe costings, stock control and wastage
Qualifications/Certifications
Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification
Desired but not necessary
NVQ Level 2/3 in cookery
City & Guilds 706/1 or 706/2 Catering
Three years Kitchen experience.
