Your ability to guide and develop staff will be key to achieving our operational goals. * Production Oversight: Monitor production effectiveness, stock levels, and waste management to ensure your team consistently meets targets while maintaining quality standards. * Drive Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to resolve challenges and optimise operations, ensuring effective communication and teamwork. * Health and Safety Champion: Lead health and safety training initiatives, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all regulations. Person Specification: The ideal candidate will: * Demonstrate strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on motivating and developing individuals. * Be a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and makes confident decisions. * Possess excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring effective time management. * Communicate effectively, fostering a collaborative and enthusiastic team spirit. Essential Criteria: * Experience in a Production Management or Supervisory role within food manufacturing. * Solid understanding of hygiene, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. * Familiarity with BRCGS and relevant audit experience.
