As a Year 5 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in nurturing young minds, providing an engaging and stimulating learning environment for your students. The school is committed to maintaining high academic standards while fostering a positive and caring atmosphere. This position is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking for a supportive environment to further develop their skills.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring the welfare and well-being of students. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support as necessary. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies. Engage and communicate with parents, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns. Resilient with behaviour management techniquesRequirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in a primary school setting. Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Year 5. Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
