Lodestone Recruitment are currently recruiting for a local manufacturing business based in Sheffield. Located close to the Park Way, our client is a growing manufacturing company with a plan to double in size over the next 5 years. Working under the Financial Director, they are looking for a competent and experienced Cost Accountant who can work in conjunction with the Accounts Team. This opportunity has real opportunity for growth, development and future progression!
Main duties/responsibilities:
- In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping.
- Experience in analysing and monitoring costs and stock.
- Knowledge of processes and payments related to engineering or manufacturing sectors.
- Good understanding in budgeting and risk management.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- An eye for detail in relation to cost discrepancies and variances in relation to debits and credits.
- Ideally have worked on Sage or similar software.

You will have:
- Experience as a Cost Accountant in Manufacturing, Engineering or Steel sectors.
- Ideally CIMA qualified or have similar experience or qualification
