Nursery Practitioner Level 3 Location: Streatham Salary: £27,352 per year Hours: 8 hours shifts Monday to Friday Contract: Full Time, Permanent We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking for a Nursery Practitioner Level 3 for their private nursery located in Streatham If you are passionate about working with children and making a positive impact on their lives, we would love to hear from you. Requirements of the role: Nursery Practitioner * We are looking for someone who is confident, caring and friendly * Someone who will enthusiastically take part in all planned activities for the babies * Someone who is not afraid to get 'stuck in' - singing, messy play, make believe play, reading stories * Supporting the babies with their individual routines - supporting nap time, preparing bottles, supporting weaning * You will be a key worker to a specific group of children and carry out observations on their progress and development on a tablet * Responsible for liaising with parents on all aspects of their child's care and development and daily handovers * Dedicated planning time to come up with exciting and engaging activity ideas to help the children's development * Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 * Plan and implement EYFS-appropriate activities, ensuring they are stimulating and engaging * Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow Qualifications: * Level 3 full and relevant Early Years qualification) * Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting * Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written * Ability to work effectively as part of a team * First Aid and CPR certification (preferred) * Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding) Benefits: * Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications * Opportunities for professional development and training * Supportive work environment with a friendly team * Company Pension scheme * Health and wellbeing programme * Employee discount * Company events * Sick pay If you are interested in this role please send your updated CV.
