Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer within the pump industry. They are now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis in Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified engineer or someone with experience with rotating equipment or similar, working within an engineering company, to change the direction of their career and apply their knowledge in technical sales as part of their skilled, supportive and growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Handle all the technical aspects of pump sales, providing critical support from enquiry stage to implementation.
* Supporting the Sales Director and co-ordinating projects, you will produce scope of work documents, cost estimates and technical literature, such as pump curves, general arrangement drawings, and datasheets.
* Enter orders on our SAP system, submit quotes, and produce accurate cost calculations for the manufacture, repair, or servicing of components.
* Liaise with other departments on capacity, material, and subcontract requirements
* Clarify tender requirements with clients
* Negotiate costs or delivery timelines
* Provide technical responses to customers and vendors
About You
To be considered as a Technical Sales Engineer, you will need:
✅A good engineering background with experience in services, repair, and maintenance of pumps, valves, compressors, and rotating equipment or similar.
✅Excellent oral and written communication skills
✅The ability to plan and prioritise your workload effectively
✅A BTEC qualification in Engineering or similar.
