Design Engineer | West Sussex | Pilling | £100k+ About the Client: My Client are currently looking for a Design Engineer to join their thriving business. The company is based in West Sussex but cover the whole of the Southeast and more piling for all the top house builders. Key Responsibilities: * Piling Design: Create and analyse design solutions for various piling systems, including driven, bored, and continuous flight auger piles. * Technical Analysis: Conduct structural and geotechnical analyses to ensure designs are safe, cost-effective, and meet project requirements. * Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and geotechnical specialists to integrate design solutions into project plans. * Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design calculations, reports, and specifications. Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations. * Site Assessments: Participate in site visits and assessments to gather necessary data and evaluate conditions affecting design. * Project Support: Assist with project scheduling and budgeting by providing accurate design timelines and resource estimates. * Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to ensure all designs meet the highest standards of accuracy and safety. About the requirements: * In depth knowledge of AutoCAD * In depth knowledge of Design Analysis Programs * Degree in civil or structural engineering (preferred) * Below ground experience (desirable) * With the role being mainly office based the candidate needs to live within an hours drive of Brighton.
