Finance Manager

We are exclusively partnered with a well established, family owned business, based in Great Yarmouth to appoint a Finance Manager to join their accounts department. This business have had a long, successful history which has centred around a passion for providing the best quality and service for their customers. The role of Finance Manager will work closely with a talented Finance Director to take responsibility for the preparation, analysis and reporting of financial information whilst overseeing the management of the Finance Team, (1 direct report, 3 in-direct).  Key responsibilities will include: Own and prepare high quality and accurate group management accounts  Own and produce monthly management information, consulting with senior managers to provide analysis of performance against budgets and key business metrics. Identify trends, risk and provide insightful written commentary. Assist with the management of the business by attending monthly meetings with the senior management team to discuss results and performance. Work with the Finance Director to produce annual budgets and regular re-forecasts. Use and develop financial analyses and modelling to determine the current and future position of the business. Improve the effectiveness of the Finance Team via system and process review. Lead an efficient year-end process by planning and coordinating the annual audit process, quickly responding to queries and creating strong relationships with eternal auditors.Personal qualities: A recognised. professional qualification in accountancy (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Strong written and verbal communication skills – ensuring accuracy in own work and underlying data. Ability to produce and present analytical information in a format that can be understood by non-financial colleagues.
