Senior Project Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our client's team, responsible for the successful delivery of a key onshore project.This role focuses on ensuring the project meets the agreed scope, stays within budget, and follows the schedule while meeting client expectations. The Senior Project Manager will oversee the entire project, particularly managing the South (England) and North (Scotland) sections, considering site-specific characteristics such as topography, environmental constraints, infrastructure, and health and safety.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the design team to develop the best engineering solutions for the project.Manage interactions with landowners, planning authorities, and stakeholders to keep the project on track.Coordinate with the offshore cable team to ensure smooth landfall integration.Oversee subcontractor appointments and ensure critical elements like HHD/Civils are addressed.Manage recruitment and resource planning to ensure the project has the necessary staff.Issue Project Manager Instructions (PMI) and Early Warning Notices (EWN) as needed.Organize and chair project update meetings with key stakeholders.Qualifications & Requirements:Experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction or energy industries.Strong communication and coordination skills across various stakeholders and project teams.Engineering qualification (HND or degree level preferred, but not essential).High proficiency in computer systems and software.Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.A valid driving license is essential.What We Offer:25 days of annual leave plus statutory holidaysPension scheme with life assuranceParticipation in a Share Scheme with annual enrolmentHealth Care Cash Plan and employee counselling serviceEmployee discounts on mobile plans, Dell products, and major retailersCycle-to-work scheme and free on-site parkingEnhanced maternity/paternity leave and sick payVitality scheme and free flu vaccinationsThis is a great opportunity to lead a major project in an engaging and fast-paced industry.
