Quality Manager

Quality Manager Yateley PERMANENT Circa £50k Our client, a precision engineering business have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed quality manager to join their team. Specific Responsibilities: * Management and maintenance of the Company Quality Systems and compliance with relevant national and international standards. * The upkeep of all QA records and documentation. * Conducting and documenting internal audits of the Quality System * Organising and ensuring readiness for Customer Audits * Organising and ensuring readiness for external audits (BSI) * Monitoring/Auditing Suppliers * Creation and maintenance of quality performance KPI’s * Creation and maintenance of supplier performance KPI’s * Management and maintenance of works instructions * Creation and maintenance of quality plans * Compiling and creating First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs’) * Representing the Company and customer facing with respect to Quality matters. * Defining processes and procedures in conjunction with section leaders * Identifying and promoting areas for continuous improvement * Ensuring that the Company’s quality activities meet with the customer’s expectations. * Reporting to senior management meetings on quality matters. * Any other duties conducive to running an efficient QA department. Ideal candidates will have experience of working in a highly regulated environment (Aerospace, Automotive or Pharma). This is a permanent role where you will be expected to work 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 2pm on a Friday. In return you can expect a salary in the region of £50k ( Dependant on experience ), 25 hols + bank holidays, 4 times life assurance and pension.
