Benefits Available for a Workshop Manager * Negotiable Base Salary in the Region of £55,000 * Flexi Time & Working from Home Options * Annual Tax Free Bonus * Enhanced Company Pension * Above Average Holiday Entitlement (with the option to buy and sell days) * Life Assurance (above market average) * Paid Overtime * Ongoing Training & Development * The Opportunity to join a Well Established and Growing Business where your Input will make a Real Difference Duties of a Workshop Manager * As Special Purpose Machine Build Manager you will lead a multi-disciplined team of technicians to ensure each build is completed on time, within budget and that it’s handed over to the customer with complete satisfaction. * As part of your role you will also be tasked with managing site services, driving 5S and ensuring all statutory regulations are adhered to. Requirements of a Workshop Manager Have a proven background in leading an engineering team within a special purpose machine build environment. Where you have had direct responsibility for plant performance, achieving targets, process development, mentoring staff, setting and monitoring KPI’s and managing time critical projects. You will ideally be: * Qualified to a HNC standard Mechanically * Have climbed the ranks of engineering from an apprentice level (ideally in toolmaking or mechanical fitting) into a position where you have led a team.
