Avionic Mechanic

JMC Aviation are working with a MRO company based in Manchester, looking to recruit new B2 (Avionic) Mechanics to join their team. This business is a leading MRO dealing with base maintenance as well as interior modifications and fuel systems repair and maintenance for both commercial and military aircraft. The company has been operating for close to 30 years, providing outstanding customer service and encouraging a warm, positive environment to aid employee progression. This is a Permanent Position based in Manchester. Working Monday - Friday, with two options of shift: 7.00- 3.30pm or 3.00- 11.30pm. Benefits * Competitive salary and allowances * 25 days annual leave entitlement + bank holidays * 4x Life assurance * 4% Employer pension contribution * Sick pay * Service awards from 2 years The Role The primary purpose of this role is to install complex wiring harnesses and modifications to existing wiring, within Avionic shelves and panels Other duties involve: * Full removal and strip of equipment * All aspects of electrical and avionics work * Wiring termination and testing * Removing and installing of various shelves, panels and equipment * Loom manufacturing and testing * Assisting with systems tests Skills and experience required.
