Job Requirements / Description
Currently seeking a Qualified Primary Teacher in the Oldham area to cover PPA across the school, leading sessions with planning provided across Y1 to Y6. This role will include various tasks such as: * Delivering engaging lessons. * Being willing and able to work with KS1 and KS2 pupils, managing behaviour in line with school policies. * Delivering engaging and interesting lessons in line with the current National Curriculum * Ensuring all marking is completed and hand over notes are left. * Engaging with the pupils and keeping them on task, assisting with queries where possible. * Dealing with any immediate issues or emergencies according to the school policies and procedures. * Assessing pupil progress Applicant requirements: * Candidates must hold Qualified Teacher Status, have experience teaching in UK primary schools and be able to fully commit to the post. * All applicants will be required to hold an enhanced DBS disclosure registered with the online update service or be willing to purchase a new one. * The school will consider NQT's. * Be an outstanding classroom practitioner who has high expectations of children and their learning. * Has knowledge of effective strategies to raise attainment and progress & can work well as part of a team. * Is creative and constantly looking for ways to engage and inspire children. * Has good organisational and classroom management skills. Details of the role: * This role commences as soon a suitable applicant is recruited. * This role is full time, Mon – Fri but a part-time option will be considered. * Successful candidates will be subject to safeguarding and vetting checks.
