Management Accountant

Page Personnel are recruiting for a part qualified Management Accountant on behalf of one of the UK's leading brands. This role will operate from the head office site in Bury and play a key role in the production of the management accounts. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast paced, progressive business. Description Management Accountant duties include: Responsible for maintaining and updating the Fixed Asset Register accurately on a monthly basis in line with the group accounting policies Monthly analysis and investigation of P&L depreciation variances Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving any differences Monthly analysis of capex movements to ensure they align with business expectations Assist the Commercial Finance team with the preparation of annual budgets and monthly reforecasts for depreciation Calculation of half year and year end WIP adjustments Adhere to group reporting deadlines Work with the internal controls team to ensure that the fixed asset controls are in line with the Group expectation and implement new processes as required Assist with audit queries Ad hoc project work as required National statistics returnsProfile The successful candidate will: Be part qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA Have a proven track record in a similar role Be proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables etc) Be an excellent written and verbal communicator Working knowledge of the retail industry would be beneficial Job Offer A salary up to £50,000 based on experience, study support, pension, on site canteen, on site parking, staff discounts, discounted gym & more
