Freelance Site Manager

Location: Kilsyth Contract Duration: 6 weeks (Starting 21st October) Project: Refurbishment Working Hours: Variable between 7am - 7pm (Some weekend work required) We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a fast-paced refurbishment project in Kilsyth. This is a 6-week contract, starting on 21st October, ideal for a professional with a strong background in managing refurbishment projects especially involving external render works, gutter & fascia repairs & retaining wall works. Key Responsibilities: * Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered on time and to high standards * Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and the client to ensure smooth workflow * Ensure all Health & Safety protocols are adhered to on site * Problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment * Provide regular updates and reports to the client * Work autonomously while being client-facing and professional Requirements: * SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) * Black CSCS or Gold CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) * First Aid at Work Certification * IT literate with the ability to use site management software and tools * Strong Health & Safety awareness * Excellent communication and leadership skills * Able to work autonomously and take full responsibility for site operations Working Conditions: * Hours are variable, between 7am - 7pm, with some weekend working required.
