Our client is a highly successful Main/Principal Contractor within the Commercial, Industrial, Health and Educational Sectors. This includes all aspects of New Build, Refurbishment, Civil Engineering and Fit Out projects.

They are now looking for a Project Manager to oversee every aspect of a construction project for 1/2 projects across the North east.

Responsibilities include overseeing operational duties from inception to completion, promoting a positive health and safety and environmental impact culture, ensure on-site safety through risk management and risk assessment, manage the construction process, supervising all activity on-site, enforcing safety procedures, planning and delivery, organising logistics, delegation of work and ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, in budget and in line with contractual obligations.

To qualify, you will ideally possess a Degree/HND/BTEC in Civil Engineering degree ( SMSTS and demonstrable experience in the delivering of Commercial, Industrial, Health and Educational projects. You will have good knowledge of construction and legal guidelines with good organisation and programming skills. You will possess excellent problem-solving skill, have financial and commercial awareness and be able to negotiate and influence. Be able to build and maintain strong relationships, ensure regular communication with key contacts and reporting progress on project.
