As a Cook you will: * Prepare and cook meals and snacks according to pre-set menus, ensuring they are nutritious, appetising, and meet dietary needs. * Manage simple stock control, reporting goods to be ordered to relevant senior staff to maintain adequate supplies. * Keep the kitchen clean, including washing up crockery and utensils. Dispose of waste correctly and ensure all food is used within prescribed periods. * Be aware of residents' dietary needs and respond to their comments and requests regarding the menu. * Assist in covering leave for other Kitchen Assistant staff. To be a Cook you need: * Good communication skills to interact with residents. * Ability to work both in a team and independently. * Previous experience in a Healthcare catering role and Food Hygiene Level 2 certification. Work Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (2 day per week, 3 days 4th week of month) Additional Benefits: * Paid Enhanced Access NI check. * Full paid induction. * Free uniform provided. * Company pension scheme.
