As our Field Sales Manager, you won't just be a manager – you'll be a leader, mentor, and driving force behind our team's success. Your mission will be to lead, inspire, and guide our team of sales professionals, propelling them toward achieving sales goals and, of course, promoting our incredible Shred-it services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Empowerment: You’ll take charge, inspire, and empower a team of seasoned sales professionals. Your guidance will pave the way for individual and collective sales excellence, driving revenue and achieving growth objectives.
  • Strategy and Vision: You’ll develop and execute strategic sales plans that sync with our company's goals and the latest market trends.
  • Relationship Building: You’ll cultivate and nurture strong relationships with potential clients, showcasing the unique value proposition that Shred-it brings to the table.
  • Teamwork: You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams to identify and seize market opportunities. Your input will be pivotal in capitalizing on sales prospects and team expansion avenues.
  • Coaching and Feedback: You’ll champion regular sales meetings and provide constructive feedback to optimize the team's sales performance. Your guidance will be instrumental in sharpening our sales capabilities.
  • Data Driven Insights: You’ll leverage your proficiency in generating comprehensive reports on team performance metrics and sales forecasts; these insights will be pivotal in guiding strategic decisions.
  • Industry Leader: You’ll be up to date with evolving industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Your expertise will ensure that Shred-it remains at the forefront of the data security landscape.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • You’re a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in steering sales teams, particularly within the B2B sector.
  • You’re a people’s person and building relationships is second nature to you. You can easily develop trust and rapport with clients and teammates alike.
  • You’re a master at multitasking and you possess exceptional organizational skills, enabling you to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks with utmost efficiency.
  • You’re passionate about coaching and mentoring. Your guidance and development of your team will be instrumental in their professional growth.
  • While expertise in document destruction or data protection is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. Your dedication for sales leadership is what truly matters to us.
  • You’re proficient in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel and PowerPoint). This will enable you to generate insightful reports and compelling presentations.
