Job Description
Director of People to:
- Lead the HR function in a true strategic capacity.
- Continue to establish the HR function in a modern and strategic way.
- A key opportunity to truly shape the role and HR function.
- Continue to implement the existing HR strategy and look to shape the new strategy.
- Oversee the development of innovative resourcing strategies.
- Lead the implementation of a new performance management system.
- Provide strategic advice to the senior leadership and management teams.
- Develop effective induction processes.
- Develop an effective appraisal system.
- Develop a new learning management system as well as any L&D initiatives.
- Develop a diversity and inclusion strategy as well as develop any DEI initiatives.
- Develop policies and processes that are required.
- Cultural change: shape a more flexible working approach to the organisation, looking at new ways of working.
- Identify and implement HR projects including engagement, organisational development and modernisation.
The Successful Applicant
Director of People with:
- Previous experience of developing and implementing an HR strategy.
- CIPD level 7 desirable.
- Strong experience of effective leadership and managing an HR Team, whilst operating at a strategic level.
- Experience of working within the commercial sector is preferred.
- Strong experience of diversity and inclusion strategy and initiatives.
- Previous experience leading an organisation through change.
