Job Title: Fire & Security Systems Surveyor Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum Location: Cirencester Department: Surveying and Sales Reporting to: Surveying Manager Job Overview: We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Fire & Security Systems Surveyor to join our team. This exciting role involves surveying and designing installations for Fire, Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control systems, managing new sales enquiries, and developing lasting relationships with both new and existing customers. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing accurate system designs and quotations while supporting our growth objectives. Key Responsibilities: Conduct site surveys to assess customer requirements for Fire, Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control systems. Design tailored system solutions that meet client needs and comply with relevant industry standards. Prepare accurate and detailed quotations, ensuring cost-effective solutions for customers. Manage new sales enquiries, guiding clients through the specification and design process. Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers, identifying opportunities for additional services or upgrades. Work closely with the engineering and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery. Keep up to date with industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements in Fire & Security systems. Attend client meetings and site visits as required to discuss project requirements and deliver solutions. Skills and Experience Required: Previous experience in surveying and designing Fire, Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control systems. Strong understanding of security system technologies and relevant industry standards. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust. Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing system designs and quotations. Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
