The ideal candidate will:Have Maths andEnglish to GCSE Grade C or equivalent;Have previousexperience of working with children/young people;Love encouraging,motivating and inspiring young children through the support they give in orderto encourage their learning;Be committed toour ethos that all pupils can achieve at our SHARE Primary Academies;Have experienceof working with children who have SEN/EAL;Have anunderstanding of behaviour management;Have great references demonstrating they are asuitable candidate, safe to work with children.Essential criteria:Maths and Englishto GCSE Grade C or equivalent.Experience ofworking with children/young people in a school.Experience ofworking with children who have SEN.Ability to engageand influence others.Excellentinterpersonal skills and the ability to foster good relationships withparents/carers and other outside agencies.Excellentbehaviour management skills.Commitment to thesafeguarding of young people.Ability to dealwith the personal care and comfort, and necessary treatments with pupils, i.e.toileting and intimate care issues.Ability to assistthe teacher in planning class activities.Ability toprepare differentiated materials and teaching aids suitable for learningactivities.Ability to use ICT to support learning.Desirable criteria:NVQ 3 forTeaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications or experience.Experience ofworking across departments and with external organisations.Ability tomonitor and evaluate impact of interventions and strategies.Is willing to work flexibly within scope ofoverall hours.What the school offers its staffWhy apply to join SHAREMulti Academy Trust?There are many reasons whyyou will enjoy working for the trust.
