Materials Planning Manager

Position: Materials Planning Manager Location: Deeside, Flintshire Job Type: Permanent My client a global leader in the aerospace industry are on the hunt for a Materials Planning Manager. Role and Responsibilities – In this role you will be responsible for providing leadership to the planning and commercial team. You will lead by example to coach, mentor and develop the team, making sure efficiency and collaboration are at exceptional levels. Other responsibilities include: Work closely with Operations, Production, MRO and Engineering to establish true capacity plans based on demands vs resource availability. Strives to enable the team to fully utilise the ERP system to full functionality. Developing reporting mechanisms and standardising across the team/group where possible. Interacts with Quality, Materials, Manufacturing, MRO, Shipping, and Assembly to ensure deliveries are met. Analyse inventory levels for purchased and manufactured goods. Monitors and manages material inventories, tracks progress of production, and reviews factors which affect schedules.
